The project focuses on developing a harmonious balance between environmental conservation and sustainable tourism in the Sogamoso region. The integration of concepts such as ecotourism, community-based tourism, popular economy and competitiveness establishes the basis for an innovative and transformative project in the area. The project seeks to strengthen the local economy, preserve biodiversity, and promote tourism in the Siscunsí National Natural Park through strategies that include the creation of an ecotourism model, the inculcation of ecological awareness from childhood, and the attraction of tourists committed to sustainability. The project will be developed in the Siscunsí Paramo, covering various ecological areas with an absolute focus on protection and conservation, and prohibiting harmful activities such as mining and intensive agriculture.
