Colombia reaffirms its leadership as a strategic destination for exports, tourism and investment at the successful macro business roundtable 'Colombia, El País de la Belleza', organized by ProColombia at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.

Outstanding results by sector:

• Exports: more than USD 48 million in immediate sales and business expectations, with Mexico leading in purchase intent (USD 30.2M). Sectors such as Sistema Moda (USD 16.3M) and Metalmechanics (USD 11.61M) set the tone.

• Tourism: Expectations for USD 8.1 million in 266 business appointments, with Cundinamarca (USD 5.4 million) and Bolívar (USD 1.2 million) as the main tourist destinations.

• Investment: 67 opportunities identified in key sectors such as agribusiness, infrastructure, IT, and creative industries, with Cundinamarca and Antioquia leading the interest.

ProColombia's president, Carmen Caballero, stated, “We are convinced that this event will strengthen relations between Mexico and Colombia, opening doors for new business and benefits for the entire region.”

With more than 1,300 business appointments and the participation of 171 Colombian exporters and 90 international buyers, this macro-trade fair positions Colombia as a global benchmark for investors and buyers seeking quality, innovation and opportunities in Latin America.
